The people of this land have been protected by our military since before the United States of America was even officially a country.  Our opportunity to vote last Tuesday was only provided by the sacrifices of all of our veterans.  We honored their efforts by going to the polling places.  We can honor them again today by thanking the vets that we see and flying an American flag (not just today but every day).

For those of you in Tulsa, there will be a big parade downtown starting at 11 a.m.  It will be kicked off by a flyover by F-16's from the Oklahoma Air National Guard.  You can also watch it on Channel 8 KTUL.

I figured out how to keep a religious post on Facebook from not getting subdued by their algorithms.  Instead of typing something, I took a picture of a dollar bill's "In God We Trust" and posted the picture.  Instead of getting 3 or 4 likes, like most of my Christian or Conservative posts, I got almost 30 likes.  Those are closer to the amounts I get when I post something that is of a more mundane nature.

Try posting pictures of your messages and see if more people can view them.

Early Voting has started in the Sooner State.  Go vote!  Who knows what might happen on Tuesday.  You can check your county's election board website to find out where to go.  Choose wisely.

Do you northeast Oklahomans remember Eddie Huff?  He was on the Pat Campbell radio show for many years until Pat passed away.  I always like Eddie's views better than Pat's.  They were both presenting Conservative viewpoints but Eddie's made more sense to me.

Well, Eddie has his own podcast now (even while he's running for a Tulsa City Council seat).  My app for him won't work but he's on YouTube.  He's still covering many important topics in northeast Oklahoma.  He also still makes me laugh.  He has good comedic timing.  That's hard to find on a Conservative talk show.  Rush Limbaugh had it but few others do these days.

I hope you listen to his "Message To Tulsa" show about the leftist path that the city has been on.  His show with former mayoral candidate Chris Medlock goes into more detail about that.  Now is the time to vote the RINO's out and remove the other progressives as well.

The Flyover Conservative couple recently had Robert Davi on their show.  You may recognize him as one of the Agent Johnsons from "Die Hard" or the drug kingpin from the James Bond movie "Licensed To Kill".  He also stars in the current "Reagan" movie.  He has had roles in over 100 other shows as well.

If you want to help the victims of the ginned-up hurricane, ensure you pick the right method to do so.  Either donate through your church or pick Donald Trump's Gofundme account.  Assuredly, several wicked people will set up fake charities to fund their bank accounts and/or other evil deeds.

Ever have the problem of finding decorations that say "Happy Thanksgiving"?  I've looked to last couple of years around Tulsa to show my thanks to the Lord.  The indoor & outdoor decorations that are at At Home, Old Time Pottery, Michael's  & even Hobby Lobby (yes, Hobbo Lobbo) say "Thankful", "Blessed", "Happy Fall Y'all", etc.  Some even now sell Pilgrim figurines.

I had to look & order online this year to find signs that actually say "Happy Thanksgiving".  Crazy!

So if you're looking at a store around Tulsa to find such stuff, just log onto your computer or phone & skip the local brick & mortar.  I would rather shop local first.  I tried time & again to but to spread Thanksgiving cheer, I had to get on the intrawebs.  There are some really cool things available so good luck!
