I have been attending Tea Parties, meetings with Conservative candidates and Conservative information meetings since 2010. I know that everyone is busy but keeping our country from going any further down the road to socialism is the most important thing we can do!
I know that many people are raising children. I know that many people have to work more than one job nowadays to make ends meet. I also know that the Founding Fathers had children to raise. I know that they worked more than 40 hours per week in the 1700’s. Working for freedom should always be on our minds and often in our actions.
If you have young children, you can hire a babysitter while you attend a meeting or volunteer to help a Conservative candidate’s campaign. If you’re tied up watching your children at sports practices, you can let your kids practice one night every week or two without being in the stands (believe me, I preferred not having my parents watch me at karate). If you use a couple of hours on your days off from work to help promote Conservatism, the country will be better off.
This is not the country we grew up in! However, we are in a great position now to get that America back. We have the White House and Congress. Now it is time to weed out the RINO’s in Congress, state legislatures, city and county councils and school boards! They listen to lobbyists too much. It’s time to make the citizens’ voices heard and our votes counted. Let’s take out the RINO’s in primary elections! Eric Cantor was “primaried” from Congress and he was in line to become the Speaker of the House. If he can go down, any RINO can! Let’s take America back from the Progressives, regardless of which party they are in!
The United States is the greatest nation the world has ever seen! We need to make freedom first again! We need to reduce government over-regulation and return to a free market system! We can do that at the voting booth, at Tea Party meetings, at Conservative candidate rallies and by going door-to-door letting people know who our Conservative candidates are. Grass-roots campaigning is another answer. Donating money (any amount) to Conservatives is still another answer. We must take this country back before the government runs everything. At that point, we will have lost our freedom.
