Do you miss "It's A Wonderful Life" 11 months of the year?  Wish you could read about the Baileys, Mr. Gower & hope for redemption for Mr. Potter?  You can get a taste of them each week of the year with the book "52 Little Lessons From It's A Wonderful Life" by Bob Welch.

This book is a great way to keep centered all year long.  You can buy it on eBay or Amazon.  Hee-haw!

Happy 2025!  Do you have goals set for your life?  I'm sure many of us want to get married, raise good kids, get a great job, retire at an age where we can enjoy that time.  Maybe others want to win a league or tournament that they play a sport in or get an award for how nice their classic car or hot rod is.

Do we have goals written down on how to get there though?  How to advance in our careers?  How to get in & stay in good health?  Things that we can do for God & other people?  What to invest in & how much?

It's great to want to accomplish things but it's easier when these goals & methods are written down (not just typed).  It helps reinforce the thought process, gives us direction & a sense of accomplishment along the way.  Godspeed on your goals!

Season's Greetings!  You probably never thought you would see R. Lee Ermey read "Twas The Night Before Christmas".  (You probably never thought that Billy Idol would put out a Christmas album either but you can find that on YouTube too.)  What can I say?  Jesus' birth brings out the best in people.  Enjoy!

The people of this land have been protected by our military since before the United States of America was even officially a country.  Our opportunity to vote last Tuesday was only provided by the sacrifices of all of our veterans.  We honored their efforts by going to the polling places.  We can honor them again today by thanking the vets that we see and flying an American flag (not just today but every day).

For those of you in Tulsa, there will be a big parade downtown starting at 11 a.m.  It will be kicked off by a flyover by F-16's from the Oklahoma Air National Guard.  You can also watch it on Channel 8 KTUL.

Several restaurants provide free or discounted food for Veterans today.

THANK YOU, VETERANS!

I figured out how to keep a religious post on Facebook from not getting subdued by their algorithms.  Instead of typing something, I took a picture of a dollar bill's "In God We Trust" and posted the picture.  Instead of getting 3 or 4 likes, like most of my Christian or Conservative posts, I got almost 30 likes.  Those are closer to the amounts I get when I post something that is of a more mundane nature.

Try posting pictures of your messages and see if more people can view them.

Early Voting has started in the Sooner State.  Go vote!  Who knows what might happen on Tuesday.  You can check your county's election board website to find out where to go.  Choose wisely.

Do you northeast Oklahomans remember Eddie Huff?  He was on the Pat Campbell radio show for many years until Pat passed away.  I always like Eddie's views better than Pat's.  They were both presenting Conservative viewpoints but Eddie's made more sense to me.

Well, Eddie has his own podcast now (even while he's running for a Tulsa City Council seat).  My app for him won't work but he's on YouTube.  He's still covering many important topics in northeast Oklahoma.  He also still makes me laugh.  He has good comedic timing.  That's hard to find on a Conservative talk show.  Rush Limbaugh had it but few others do these days.

I hope you listen to his "Message To Tulsa" show about the leftist path that the city has been on.  His show with former mayoral candidate Chris Medlock goes into more detail about that.  Now is the time to vote the RINO's out and remove the other progressives as well.
